Thomas was born on November 8th, 1678 in Torworth Nottinghamshire England. Thomas' father was Robert Hawson and his mother was Martha Hawson. His paternal grandfather is Henry Hawson and his paternal grandmother was Ann Cowper; his maternal grandfather is Francis Hawson. He was an only child.
