William Donevan

William was born on April 13th, 1897 in West Derby, Lancashire.¹ William's father was John W Donovan and his mother was Amelia Corrigan. His paternal grandparents were John Donovan and Mary Ann Wright; his maternal grandfather was Miles Corrigan and his maternal grandmother is Maria Ravenscroft. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Miles, Alfred, Andrew, Francis, Henry, Mary H., Winifred J, Florence, Annie and Ellen. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 82 on September 8th, 1979 in Hyndburn and Rossendale, Lancashire, England.
