James V was born on April 10th, 1512 in Linlithgow Palace, Scotland.  James V's father was King James IV "Iron Belt" Stewart, Knight of the Order of the Thistle, Baron of Renfrew, Earl of Carrick, and his mother was Margaret Tudor.  His paternal grandparents were King James III and Margaret of Denmark Queen of Scotland; his maternal grandparents were Henry VII Tudor King Of England Earl Of Richmond and Elizabeth of York Plantagenet, Queen Consort of England. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, James, Arthur, Alexander, Duke Ross, Archbishop of St Andrews, Darnley John, Robert, Adam, Catherine, Princess of Scotland #1, Princess of Scotland #2, Mary, Jean Stewart and Margaret. He had a half-sister named Lady Margaret.  He died at the age of 30 on December 14th, 1542 in Falkland Castle, Fife, Scotland.



James V's first family with Elizabeth Carmichael

James V's third family with Marie DE Lorraine

‌James V and Marie were married in a religious ceremony on June 12th, 1538 in Scotland.  They had two sons and a daughter, named James, Arthur Robert and Queen of Scotts.
